Dear friends,
I sincerely congratulate all the Ukrainians, who served abroad, on the Day of honoring of participants in combat activities on the territory of foreign states.
"A total of 27 years have passed since the moment of withdrawal of the last Ukrainian soldier from Afghanistan. That war made you hard. You returned home knowing the real meaning of the words "brotherhood," "honor," "dignity," and "duty." Many of you participated in the Euromaidan events, where you protected not only own dignity, but also the dignity of all Ukrainian people. And now, the "Afghan war veterans" are among those, who currently protect own motherland," he said.
We bow our heads to those, who stood in spite of all the challenges. On behalf of the Ukrainian Parliament I thank you for your heroism, courage and dedication.
I wish you sound health, personal happiness, and good service for the sake of our Motherland!
